Our Story

We are Amanda and John Venturino, the heart behind Mandi's Doodles. Our love for dogs is guided by purpose, education, and intention.

Breeding is deeply personal to me. It’s where my background in animal science and reproductive biology meets my passion for raising truly exceptional dogs. Dogs deserve the best outcomes possible: health, longevity, and temperamental soundness. Therefore, I actively seek out and apply peer-reviewed research to refine how I breed, raise, and evaluate our dogs. From early development to long-term health outcomes, every decision we make is intentional.

We focus on developing well-rounded, versatile companions. Our goldendoodles are friendly and family-focused, yet active, engaged, and eager to participate. We strive to develop goldendoodles who bring both energy and ease to everyday life.

By prioritizing highly trainable, naturally obedient temperaments, we produce dogs who are responsive and connected. Given the right foundation, they can excel in sports, obedience, and retrieving work.

Mandi’s Doodles is a reflection of my commitment to thoughtful, responsible breeding, and a deep belief that great dogs are produced with heart, and a lot of science!

I’ve spent more than 20 years immersed in animal science and the veterinary field, building a strong foundation through both formal education in areas like reproduction, genetics, behavior, and immunology, along with hands-on laboratory research. My program has been shaped by the guidance of seasoned breeders and veterinarians I trust, along with years of developing skills in training puppies.

It's this commitment to ongoing learning and expertise that fuels my passion and drives my dedication to producing healthy, well-adjusted puppies. Each litter becomes a new chapter in my journey, fostering continuous learning and growth as a breeder.

BIOSECURITY PROGRAM

A biosecurity program is implemented when entering the home to protect puppies from pathogens during their most vulnerable stages of development.

EARLY NEUROLOGICAL STIMULATION

ENS is critical for development to increase performance and learning capacity. Early scent introduction stimulates the senses and promotes neural plasticity and growth.

PUPPY CULTURE METHOD

A very reputable raising method that provides lessons and stimulation to produce engaging, well-rounded puppies who are eager to learn.

EXPOSURE TO NEW PEOPLE

Puppies are introduced to children of various ages, senior citizens, and new people to provide enrichment and exposure.

VARIOUS CHALLENGES

Puppies meet small animals like chickens and other dogs, climb stairs, master eye contact, and waiting quietly for meals. They spend time in crates and are encouraged to problem solve.
